Lodging, Dining, Camping Options for Lee's Ferry/Marble Canyon Area
There are three lodges located on Highway 89-A within ten miles of the
turnoff to Lee's Ferry. Room rentals are all in the range of $50-70
per night. Their restaurants serve modest and inexpensive fare.
- Marble Canyon Lodge - 1 mile west of Colorado River, at turnoff.
Center of activity in the area. Newer section has refurbished rooms
of good quality. Restaurant is modest. Has a fly shop, grocery store and
gas station.
Also, Camper Services, such as showers, phones, and laundry.

- Lee's Ferry Lodge - 4 miles west of turnoff.
Has older rooms at slightly lower rates. Restaurant is the best of
the three. Bar stocks about 100 different types of beer and is lively
in the evenings. Phone is (928) 355-2231 or (800) 451-2231.
The Flyshop is adjacent and is best local source of fishing supplies.
- Cliffdwellers Lodge - 9 miles west of turnoff.
Locale is a little quieter and is famed for spectacular views. New
section has very nice rooms which are slightly more expensive.
Restaurant is modest but has a very nice outdoor patio.
The lodge has a fly shop, grocery store and gas station.

The most convenient campground is the National Park Service
campground right at Lee's Ferry, located about two miles south of
the docks. Take the marked turnoff from Highway 89-A at Marble Canyon.
The campground sits on a little mesa top with spectacular views in all
directions (including the river). It has flush toilets, sinks, and
running water. No showers, electricity, or hookups. Be aware that the
area is not quite level, and it is frequently very windy in the
afternoons.
There is fair shore fishing within walking distance of the camp.

- Lake Powell, Halls Crossing Campground -
Uplake. Across lake from Bullfrog. Access by ferry or Highway 263. 83 units, limited RV hookups, flush toilets, sinks,

- Lee's Ferry Campground -
5 miles north of Marble Canyon, about 1 hour drive from Lake Powell. 54 units, no hookups, flush toilets, sinks,
and water. Showers and services in Marble Canyon. Sits on a mesa top with
spectacular views in all directions. Run by NPS. 928-355-2319.
- Jacob Lake Campground -
On US 89A, about 2 hours drive to Lake Powell. 53 units, no hookups, vaulted toilets, sinks,
and water. Services nearby. Run by NFS. 928-643-7395.
- Kanab, Coral Pink Sand Dunes State Park -
Off of US 89 north of Kanab, about 2 hours drive to Lake Powell. 22 units, no hookups, flush toilets, sinks,
and water. Colorful scenic and recreation area. Run by state of Utah. 435-648-2800.
- Kanab RV Corral -
On US 89A, about 1.5 hours drive to Lake Powell. 39 units, full hookups
and services. Private. 435-644-5330.
- Flagstaff KOA -
On US 89, about 2.5 hours drive to Lake Powell. 220 units, full hookups
and services. Wooded. Urban area, many services and amenities nearby. Private. 928-526-9926.
- Bonito Campground -
Off of US 89 north of Flagstaff, adjacent to Sunset Crater National Monument,
about 2+ hours drive to Lake Powell. 44 units, no hookups, flush toilets, sinks,
and water. Tents, motor homes, trailers under 42 ft. are permitted. No Reservations. No Group campsites. Wooded and very scenic.
Volcanic features and Indian ruins nearby.

- Navajo National Monument -
Off of US 160 southeast of Page, about 2 hours drive to Lake Powell.
31 units, no hookups, flush toilets, sinks, and water. RV's are limited to 28 ft or less. Lightly wooded and very scenic.
Outstanding cliff dwellings for those able to hike. Run by NPS. 928-672-2700.

Location
Glen Canyon NRA/Lake Powell is located in southern Utah. The Glen Canyon Dam and southern tip of the lake is in Arizona. The area's centers of activity are the Wahweap Marina and nearby Page, Arizona. Both are adjacent to highway US 89.
Flagstaff, Arizona, lies 130 miles south on US 89, where connections can be made south on I-17 to Phoenix or east/west on I-40. Heading north on US 89, you may access I-15 connecting to Las Vegas or Salt Lake City.
